Curious what's the recording limit for this thing? I need to film DJ sets that can last 2 hours often in low light, would you reccomend it for those situations?

HELLO. I finally purchased the Panasonic VX1 4K Ultra HD Camcorder (HC-VX1EG-K). My first impressions are that the zoom performance and daytime shots are very good. However, night shooting doesn't seem to meet my expectations. In some comments, it was said that this camera has the feature of pausing and resuming the video without stopping. But I couldn't do it anyway. I need information on how it is done.

Gopro doesnt even have true 1080. They claim to have 4k and beyond. But footage is often more like 640 x 480. Try pausing and zooming in. No detail.

is it true that in auto mode the camera changes the shutter speed to even 1/1500 on a sunny day?

I’m looking at buying one but as soon as you changed to it in the car it couldn’t handle the outside light. It’s all blown out, your face looked great but it couldn’t hadn’t the white light. My Samsung phone could handle the light. Do you think the white balance wasn’t set?

That is pretty good quality, especially compared to my older dash cam 47 which is max 1080p. Looking to upgrade and definitely don't much trust other brands.

Hi friend, What a beautiful footage! I really liked it! How do you enable those 240 fps on your GoPro? I have a GoPro Hero 12 Black and I can't set it to 240 fps; mine is still enabling at 200 fps. I even tried to reduce the resolution to 1080 and nothing! Could the memory card impact the functions? I bought a professional LEXAR 256 Gb memory card. Could you please give me a tip? Remembering that I have already updated the firmware.

Can this camcorder take good photos . I'm trying to buy one of these in the summer . Can it transfer videos from the camcorder to your phone or laptop?

Just bought the hero 10 blk to replace my hero 7 blk and think I might finally jump up to the 2.7k from 1080p, loose about 2hrs of recording time on my sd card which is a tad bad since I use it on my motorbike so will need to remember to carry spare sd cards.

The quality is good I think.

how do you playback when you do a slow mo? I have done a slowmo but it wont playback on the gopro...it only plays at normal speed..also the voice control only works now and then....the qwik app loses connection and it seems hopeless trying to get it to work as it should..it is new and updated....set at 2.7k 240 fps at 16.9....cheers.

Guys I have this cam as well and I put an external mic on the cam (Panasonic VW-MS10 MIC) In the Menu /record setup/MIC LEVEL I have 3 choices,( Auto, SET AGC ON, SET AGC OFF) I leave the mic to AUTO. the audio indoors is horrible, and the outdoors isn't great . What are the best overall audio settings I should use? (I don't want to be adjusting anything for different scenarios like indoors and outdoors, up close, far away.) Thanks so much for your help.

I spent way too much money and time hardwiring this piece of crap. I am going to try and return it. Wish I looked in to it more first. The event recording, which should only be for events you want to save, just saves random videos so it's ridiculously difficult to find the ones you want. And as you said it just doesn't turn on with the car anymore. It also drained my car battery twice, so I have to unplug it now when I turn the car off. The 4k is a joke too. Can't even see license plates with it

Is there a size difference between de hero 5 session and hero 4 session? Bought a Hotwheels car for my son and it’s build for the hero 5 session and i can get a hero 4 session from a after market. But I don’t know if they are the same size….

Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. I have one question. I tried to shoot inside a car using a gh6 + ulanzi sc-02. Due to the uneven road surface, small vibrations were captured in the video and the video quality was very poor. I'm impressed by the stable driving footage in your videos without any shaking. May I ask how you set up the IBIS on the GH6?

Hi, thanks for the comparisons. They are very helpful. The 2.7k looks best, noticeably better than 1080p. 4k appears to add contrast, but perhaps the the lighting changed when filming. Is there much of a difference in file size between 1080 and 2.7k? I'm using Premiere Pro CC2019 on an Mac-Mini running Sierra. I have no need for 5.3k. It's a choice between 1080p, 2.7k, and 4k.
